Star1 Airlines is starting to sell tickets for direct flights to London and other European cities

The Airline HC Airways changing its name to Star1 Airlines, a part of Star Team Group, starts online tickets sale for direct flights.
According to Martynas Laivys, Director of the airline Star1 Airlines online ticket sale for the direct flights from Vilnius International Airport (VIA) to London, Dublin and Girona (Barcelona) is launched.
Starting from the 3rd of July the Airline will operate four scheduled weekly flights to London, from the 4th of July three weekly flights to Dublin, from the 5th of July two weekly flights to Girona.
Flights to London and Dublin will cost 249 Litas, to Girona (Barcelona) from 299 Litas. The tickets will be on sale at Star1 Airlines website www.star1.aero and soon they will be available through travel agencies and other internet sites.
Flights will be operated with Boeing 737-700 Next – Generation. According to M. Laivys the first airline’s aircraft will land at Vilnius Airport already next week and another one in the second half of this summer.
With the second aircraft Star 1 Airlines is planning to increase the supply of flights to other European cities including Paris, Milan and additional flights to London.
By the order of the tour operator Star Holidays, Star1 Airlines yet this summer will operate charter flights to Turkey, Greece, Spain later on to Egypt, Tunisia, the Canary Islands, other resorts. The first flight to Turkey is scheduled on the 27th of June.
According to Tomas Vaisvila, Director General of Vilnius International Airport coming of new Lithuanian air carrier is not an ordinary event. “We are glad about that and we will provide the conditions for Star 1 Airlines to feel at home in Vilnius International Airport from the very first day”, said T. Vaisvila.
Star Holidays, new tour operator is also a part of Star Team Group.
