Vilnius Airport Reconstruction vision

Following a full renovation of the Vilnius Airport runway in the summer of 2017, reconstruction works will now be carried out inside the terminal. The works will start in March 2018 and should bring positive changes to the airport’s customers. They will enjoy faster and more convenient services, as well as a wider range of goods and services offered.

Why do we need it?

  2. Infrastructure renewal and implementation of the newest aviation safety requirements.

  4. Improving the image of the country and contributing to the formation of favourable investment environment.

Our vision involves a more convenient, simpler, and faster customer service, as well as a wider range of goods and services offered by the expanding Vilnius Airport.

Reconstruction plan

Vilnius Airport Reconstruction plan

Terminal modernisation will begin with a reconstruction of the commercial zone which will be finished at the end of 2018. According to current plans, it is aimed to complete the reconstruction of the airport apron and taxiways in addition to changes in the airport traffic infrastructure by 2020. The last major part of the project involves the departures terminal reconstruction and is set to take place between 2019 and 2021.
